Scanbrit School of English

The school was founded in 1956 and is located in Bournemouth, on the southern coast of
England. It operates in two school buildings just 300 meters from the beach. The school
prides itself on a high success rate in FCE, CAE, CPE, and IELTS exams. General English

Courses offered:

• Part-time course – 15 hours of General English tuition per week
• Intensive course – 25 lessons per week, morning and afternoon English tuition
• Combined course – 25 lessons of General English + 5 lessons of individual tuition per week
• IELTS preparation courses – a 4-week preparation course for the international IELTS exam
• Cambridge Exam Preparation Courses (PET, FCE, CAE, CPE) – the school organizes Cambridge exam preparation courses three times a year, with a duration of 9 or 12 weeks
• IELTS Preparation Course – a preparation course for the international IELTS exam ranging from 2 to 23 weeks
• Individual instruction – “One-to-one” individual instruction can be booked as an alternative to group courses or on its own

Accommodation: in English host families, with options for single or multi-bed rooms, including breakfast, half board, or full board. The school also offers accommodation in a summer school residence.
