Standard English courses are based on a logical explanation of grammatical concepts, vocabulary expansion, pronunciation practice, and a personal approach from the teacher to both the lessons and the students. English courses are divided into several levels of difficulty (from beginners to advanced), and to determine your English level, we offer a placement test. A similar test is given to every student before being placed in a course. English courses at London Institute Praha are taught by qualified native speakers from the United Kingdom.
At London Institute Praha, English courses are among the most important programmes we offer, which is why great emphasis is placed on the selection of textbooks and other study materials. In addition to textbooks, lessons include audio recordings, articles from international magazines, newspapers, and online resources. The most commonly used textbooks come from Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press, Longman, and Penguin.
English courses take place once or twice a week, each session lasting 90 minutes. For students who cannot attend twice a week, it is possible to attend once-weekly classes. Any missed material is recommended to be supplemented through self-study. The minimum number of participants per class is 4, with a maximum of 12 students.
Reserve your place in the English courses via the form below or contact us in person.

The FCE corresponds to the “Upper-Intermediate” level (internationally recognized as B2) and requires proficiency in all language skills.
