Student status

As a student of the post-secondary English programme at London Institute Praha, you continue to hold student status.

The post-secondary programme for the 2025/2026 academic year is being opened based on a notification from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports regarding inclusion in Annex No. 1 of the proposed amendment to Decree No. 322/2005 Coll. on further study or instruction, which for the purposes of state social support and pension insurance is considered study at secondary schools or universities.

Students who have successfully passed their first school-leaving examination (maturita) or completed their studies at a conservatory in the calendar year in which they begin this course are, for the purposes of state social support,
pension insurance, and health insurance, regarded as secondary school students with all the associated rights and obligations.
